At Broadstream Capital Partners, LLC, we focus on mergers and acquisition transactions and providing access to growth capital. We work with companies in the following capacities:
We take pride in our ability to meet our clients' expectations for superior execution of transactions, in our responsiveness to our clients' needs, and in our ability to quickly understand their businesses and industries.
Our clients only work with senior level professionals who closely advise them throughout their transactions. We view clients as our partners.
Given our experience in executing transactions as principals, we are able to identify, approach and negotiate effectively with potential acquirers or acquisition candidates.
Our solutions and advice are tailored to each client's needs. We take on just a handful of assignments at any point in time, allowing us to be attentive and focused. We take our clients from the initial stages of planning an exit or capital strategy all the way through to its execution.
"From formulating the initial marketing strategy and associated collateral information, through multiple presentations, management of prospective buyers, and protracted negotiation and intense diligence with the successful buyer, Jim continually demonstrated consistent, focused and steady mastery of the entire business sales process. The resultant sale exceeded all reasonable sellers' expectations."
"Jim was instrumental in helping us identify the critical issues involved in selling our business. He coached and lead us through the negotiation process, and delivered results--the best possible deal we could imagine. He is bright, practical and has the internal viewpoint of an owner and entrepreneur. I look forward to working with him again in the future."
"Jim came in and instantly saw what was needed to do prior to putting my company on the market. His foresight, patience and guidance along with his business acumen enabled me to sell my business for significantly more than what I told him I initially wanted!
His attention to details, financial background and business contacts helped guide me through what others said would be a tough sale. In addition to making it all happen on the business side he was also part time therapist, helping me through the pressure filled time when difficult decisions had to be made. I would recommend Jim and use him again in a heartbeat."
Broadstream is focused on making investments in the lower middle market and below - investing up to $10 million of equity in each opportunity. Our capital comes from both the Broadstream principal and partners with whom we have worked in the past.
Our investment philosophy is to be both flexible and opportunistic. We are not resistant to small buyouts, under-performers, turn-arounds, and complex situations. We are eager to acquire corporate divisions or subsidiaries that no longer fit the strategy of their corporate parent. Deals that appear difficult to get closed are the ones we are most eager to pursue.
We are comfortable investing nationwide, but prefer opportunities in California.
We are able to move quickly in responding to and pursuing opportunities, and are not constrained by lengthy, bureaucratic approval processes.
Our investment opportunities arise as a result of relationships with intermediaries such as investment bankers, finders and business professionals or directly with entrepreneurs seeking capital or exit. Broadstream enjoys a uniquely broad set of relationships and continues to seek additional ones.
